Our favorite between these two options is Three Day Rule. Here’s why.

While both options are great picks, our personal favorite is Three Day Rule and here’s why. First, we love the more personal feel that Three Day Rule brings thanks to its ‘large enough, but not too big’ size.

While a million members on Tawkify sounds great, you have to wonder how well a matchmaker is going to know the members in that pool. Our feeling with matchmaking services is that there is too big and too small, and Three Day Rule lands in the perfect middle ground.

Second, Three Day Rule has more transparent pricing. With Tawkify, our pricing estimates are a best-guess based on research that uncovered people pay wildly different prices for what appears to be the same level of service. We prefer the transparency.

Now, at first glance, Three Day Rule looks to be more expensive. However, that assumes our research on pricing is correct and it also doesn’t take into account that a Three Day Rule membership also comes with a free professional photoshoot and free dating coaching to help you succeed.

Professional matchmaking is never a service you want to make a purchasing decision based solely on pricing. You want to look for value and bang for your buck, and we think you get more of that with Three Day Rule.

The one situation where we’d advise choosing Tawkify over Three Day Rule is if you don’t live in one of the 13 cities that Three Day Rule services and you aren’t open to travel. In those instances, we’d recommend going with Tawkify, who has a much larger, national footprint.

The 13 cities where Three Day Rule offers service are Boston, Chicago, Dallas (new), LA, Miami, Orange County, NYC, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle (new), Silicon Valley, and Washington DC.

If you’re in one of those cities and ready to start your matchmaking journey, we’d encourage you to use the link below to set up a free consultation call with a Three Day Rule matchmaker. It’s a great time to ask questions and get to know the process better before making a final decision.

Key points to consider when comparing Tawkify and Three Day Rule

If you’re still not sure which matchmaking service is best for you, we’d like to dig deeper into our comparisons. Here are some key takeaways to consider when making your decision.

Tawkify may feel “big” where Three Day Rule feels more “intimate”.

Tawkify has a membership pool (meaning the people they would match you with, not necessarily clients) of over 1 million people. Three Day Rule, on the other hand, has a matching pool of 200,000 people. While 200k does seem considerably smaller, it’s important to remember that the company only operates in 13 cities as opposed to nationwide.

For those in these cities, it’s quite probably that Three Day Rule actually has a stronger footprint. Outside of these cities, though, Tawkify runs the show.

Three Day Rule is more expensive, but you get additional amenities.

As mentioned, a three-date membership with Three Day Rule is $5,900. With Tawkify, a three-date membership is around $4,500 based on the reports we’ve seen from actual clients. Per date, this breaks down to $1,966 with Three Day rule and $1,500 with Tawkify. If you purchase the six-date package from Three Day Rule, it brings the per date cost down to $1,583.

As mentioned, Three Day Rule does come with some additional services to help support you on your journey. These additional services are included in this membership pricing and not charged a la carte. These include professional photos that you can use with Three Day Rule or with online dating, dating coaching to help prepare you to succeed, and the ability to convert any unused time from your membership to more relationship coaching.

On absolute price, Tawkify wins. However, when you calculate value and throw in these additional amenities, we shift the win to Three Day Rule.

Both services offer one-on-one matchmaking.

It’s worth pointing out that the actual matchmaking process for both services is quite similar. You share information with the company, they use that to find you matches, and they set up dates for you to go on.
